Robotics Club Season Kickoff

The robotics club is gearing up this year and looking for some new people to come help us dominate the state of Utah again. We are having a kick off meeting on Tuesday Sept 24th in the Robotics Room after school. The Robotics room is located right across the hall from the counselling office. We really need Programmers, Builders, and Drivers. See you Next Tuesday!

Girls Basketball Open Gyms

Open gyms are starting for girls basketball every Monday and Wednesday until tryouts in November. Contact Coach Turner in room 2410 for specific times.

Come Join the Key Club

Are you looking for some fun and adventure? Do you love being of service to others? Join the Key Club! Key Club is a student led organization that promotes service within our community. The club meets once a week and is currently looking to add members. Applications are in the Counselor’s Office. For next week’s activity we will be having a “getting to know you” activity and then we will meet with an awesome organization called YouthLinc to learn about humanitarian programs. Meet at the Counselor’s office, Wednesday right after school. If you have any questions or need more information find Mrs. Nelson in room 1412.

Homecoming Week

Sep 23-Sep 28 is Homecoming Week at Davis High.
The theme is “Wherever You Are.” Come get involved with
Street Painting on Tuesday on the East Side of the Cafeteria.
Wednesday is the Homecoming Assembly. Don’t forget that your class can earn Spirit Bowl points in the assembly.
Thursday is the Homecoming Parade at 4pm. It starts in the KJH Parking lot and heads north and west through those neighborhoods. Come get lots of CANDY and other DHS swag.
Friday is the Homecoming Game and the halftime extravaganza.
Saturday Sep 28th is the Dance from 7-10pm. It’s not to late to ask someone! Boys, get busy. There will be a second DJ option in the small gym playing some swing and big band style music for those of you who really want to dance.
Wherever You Are, come enjoy the Homecoming Festivities. Sep 23-28th.

USU Representative

There will be a USU representative in the Commons on Sep 30th during lunch. If you are thinking about college come meet with the USU rep and get your questions answered.

Homecoming Dance Tickets

Homecoming Dance Tickets are now available online at  Tickets are $20 per couple. Please purchase your tickets in advance. No tickets will be sold at the dance. If you are taking a student from another school, remember to complete the dance contract with the administration. Contract forms are available in the main office.


If you are interested in joining HOSA please pay $20 in the main office by Friday, September 20th. Questions see a Health Science teacher or HOSA officer,


come visit your FRIENDS in the library before/after school and during lunch. We currently have a reading “perks” program where if you check out, read, and review three books before October 15th, you can receive a $5 Fiiz card.

The D Store

The D Store will be open this year every Friday at Lunch.  Come get your Davis Gear for the Game! A Mini D Store will also be open during the tailgate and the first half of every home football game. The new Spirit Bowl Shirts are now in stock now and are $10. This weeks special sale item will be the Davis new water bottles, which will be $2 off this Friday only!!
