The swim team has had a great season so far. Since the beginning of the season in October, they have had multiple wins, and are hoping to carry their astounding progress to the end of the season in February.

On Tuesday the 10th, they had a great meet against Weber, and won by 4 points.  The team is playing in an away meet at Bountiful on Friday. The team is very optimistic and confident that they will win.

The team practices really hard every day Monday through Friday after school. The nigh before meets, the team likes to have a pasta party to “carb up”.

Sophomore Ireland Dannehold said she likes to try not to think about a meet the days before so that when it comes shes not as nervous.

With 69 people on the team, it is pretty big. Teammates are very supportive, and are always cheering on other people on the team beside the pool.

“My favorite part about swim is all the friends I’ve made,” said Ireland Dannehold.

Overall, the Davis has a really amazing swim team and has been doing really great. There next swim meet is this Friday, the 13th, at Bountiful High School. Make sure to go to  some of their meets and cheer them on!
